The Solar Cradle
Between the sun and a dense asteroid belt, rests the Solar Cradle. It is from this space that all mortal races of the solar system came forth. Within this cradle, four planets orbit the sun
- Muspleheim, closest to the sun, and touched by the Bifrost’s arcane fire known as Musple
- Mimisbrunheim, second to the sun, where it is said that the early Midgir learned to harness Magic
- Midgard & her large moon Folkvangr, third to the sun. Home of the Midgir and all mortal life
- Asgard & her two small moons, Hvergleheim and Sleipgard. Touched by the Bifrost’s Divine light
The First Belt
The First Belt refers to the dense asteroid field that orbits the sun, as well as the planets that orbit beyond it. Life is sustainable on planets, but efficient solar power is not available to use
- Alfheim, a gas giant. Dark and Light Alves war over access to her rich atmosphere
- Dok’Alfheim. alfheim’s largest moon, and home world of the Dark Alves
- Loj’Alfheim alfheim’s second largest moon, and home world of the Light Alves
- Gnivdavellirheim, sixth closest to the sun, and home world of the industrious Gnomes
- Yggdrasil, planetoid with an eccentric orbit between Loj’alfheim and Gnivdavellirheim.
The entirety of its surface is a World Tree
- Yggdrasil, planetoid with an eccentric orbit between Loj’alfheim and Gnivdavellirheim.
The Great Belt
The Great Belt refers to the patchy asteroid field that orbits the sun, as well as the planets that orbit beyond it. Life is only sustainable on planets touched by either Primordial or Divine Magic. Travel is very risky
- Urorbrunheim, seventh closest to the sun, and suspected home of the exiled Vanir
- Nifleheim, furthest from the sun, and touched by the Bifrost’s arcane ice known as Nifle
Extra-System
Extra-System refers to anything beyond the solar system. This usually includes satellites, stations, and probes. While planets would technically count, the closest solar system is effectively too far away to consider.
- Jotunnheim, the theoretical home world of the extra-system invaders known as the Jotunn.
